K so this is the coloured version of my eye painting.
yeah...not all that great of an improvement but its kinda my first real attempt at adding colour to a greyscale image  Ref i used is ([link]) by  The tutorial that i used is ([link]) by  used a bit of blur effects to help soften the shading, and added the dark colours with a multiply layer and the highlights with an overlay layer. pretty much it really BTW as for my next painting practice i'll be doing some Final Fantasy fanart, so keep an eye out for that in the next week or so EDIT: I just noticed how crap the shading looks around the eye...something i'll have to work on for my next piece :S |
