Tenebrae Sketch by mad-dragon249 Tenebrae Sketch by mad-dragon249
A sketch idea for a piece of art the Your Tales Of contest. Now that the sketch is done, its time to put it on a nice 80x30cm canvas :P

Why thank you Miss.Gemblee :meow: Ive heard theres a quiet little shop in a place called Sylvarant that specializes in these.....cat..things :meow: Its quite a ways away tho :)

Ive already started sketching it to the canvas, and have broken it up into 4 segments to keep the proportions more accurately. Once thats done Im gonna use acrylics on it, but very faintly, using light washes of colour at first. If it turns out the way Ive planned it should look good :)

Hehe thank you :D Ive already started painting it, and have been recording the process via a timelapse app to make a vid of it. Ive got the base wash down and will probably move onto applying bolder layers of paint.

Oh, and Unfortunately Ive tried ordering online before, but couldnt get any sense out of shipping to my address.....something about the space-time continuum and dimensional rifts....or some such :meow:

Yep, been quite active with gaming and art vids on youtube lately :) Ive got all the footage for the timelapse, not just waiting for my copy of Sony Vegas to arrive in the post from Amazon so I can edit it together :)

Sony Vegas is a video editor program thingy mabob =P Amazon had it on sale for half the normal price, so only cost me 35, and its a great quality program for video editing. BTW heres the link to the timelapse vid on my Youtube page if you wanna see it [link]

Not heard of it but this looks pretty cool mate =) The work on the hand/clawed tail looks really awesome, looks like it could do some damage and the design of the whole piece in general is just great. I love the muscle definition as well and the designs on the eyes, necks and fins on the legs =D

Thx man :) Ive started working it onto a canvas now, tho its been slow due to work. And do you mean you've not heard of the Tales series? If not and you like a bit of JRPG they're worth checking out :)
